First working day of the year

This is my working place, a place where I spend most of my adult life, being or wanting still to be a child deep inside. I work in an agency that works with an Airline company. And this nice corner is my messy working place. Priority Number One for the year that came, is to BECOME less messy both in my private and in my public life. I just meant to become more organised.

As I am writing a belated post, a day after, I just would like to mention that on the 2nd January 2010 the official period of sales has started in Rome and mostly all over Italy. It is a sign of degradation of the society, of a consumistic society, we live in today. Who are we? The lucky ones, who live in Northern Hemisphere. We consume, and kill our land...

New Year's Resolutions

So, today is the first day of a new year. 2010, unbelievable! Ten years ago people were thinking about the coming new year 2000, were scared and excited, and now this decade is over. Moreover, to my mind it has been one of the most violent, cruel and bloody decades of the recent history (Twin Towers, War in Afghanistan, War in Iraq just to name few important ones). So, our hopes vanished quickly. We are welcoming today this new decade with our greetings on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Tagged, Odnoklassniki, etc, and we will do the same in 365 days... What is important is how we will fill out this 365 days of our lives. This is the time for New Year's Resolutions, and I have to admit that I failed to fulfill some of my NY resolutions of 2009...I have not finished the reading of the Bible, I am striving right now to end at least the Old Testament, which is fascinating and exciting. I finally did it, today, 2nd January 2010 (02/01/2010), with a small exception that I didn't read well the Book of the Prophet Ezekiel...Well, couldn't catch up with all my NY resolutions of last year, as I said before. And I really regret about it. But I have to confess that generally I enjoyed the year 2009. And I hope that this new year and new decade will be much more peaceful and serene. And I wish friendship and love to everyone I know, and do not know... TBC...

Sorry, sorry, sorry...

Ehi, my dearest diary...It's been a while that I have totally abandoned you... Seven months! This a stupid feature of my character: to build napoleonic plans and then to implement only the tenth of those at best... But anyway this year, so far, so far, so far, was quite positive and uplifting. I've read many books, I have seen many movies, changed the colour of my hair, and had few quite amazing voyages. I will try to be more constant with everything...This little space is a ray of light of my life...
